It’s good to be back!
A huge thank you to all of you have said some really lovely things about the Blog Announcements page recently. Making the announcement each night has kept me in touch with the site through thick and thin, which has been a lovely thing to be able do - I have done it on borrowed computers, borrowed and hired internet connections, borrowed time, and from all sorts of locations - it has been a good thread of consistency over months of turbulence.
However, my conscience cannot allow me to take the credit for it all - the photos for quite some time have all been taken for the Announcements page by Purple Coo’s own Humpty, who leapt to the rescue at a time when I had no camera (and even when I had no computer), and since then he has supplied the pictures while I ditty away on the side (and I do apologise for the rhymes being distinctly dodgy from time to time!) His modesty would not allow the pictures to be credited on the page, so here it is now, with a big Thank You to Humpty.

What you have added to your site is just lovely, rich, mysterious, but at the same time these images are what any of us can find a way to decode, to absorb, and to look at more than once.
