Well, it's Tuesday, and here's a pic of a knobbly piece of driftwood in my collection which looks a bit like the head of a dog which I have named Ruby, because it's Tuesday . . . when I was a very little girl, a long long long time ago, I had an invisible dog. Its name was Doggie and it went everywhere with me. How lovely now to be able to give it an image available for the entire world to see! Of course, they wouldn't, because who would Google Lixtroll to find an imaginary dog called Ruby . . . but how great is this, to be able to put pics up all over the place to our hearts' content!
The pictured knobble also resembles the map of Fife, which is where I'm from.

Ruby looks great! She looks like she could be a bit of a scamp though, so hope you keep her on a lead and away from sheep!
Nice dog wood. Your site is spooky and scary and not a little Tim Burton. I wonder if I try to read it after the magic hour of the wine opening I'll be able to see the words a bit better? getting old, you see.
madame Grognonne had somehing simular on her knees last summer but we managed to cure it with oil of turpentine adn sheepdig (3tbs twice a day with water)
