No, Mad Smithy you can't come here!

. . . and the muse ran and ran until she made it to the safety of the tree-house.

With many thanks to everyone who has given me so much encouragement and freedom to break through the block!

A painting finally blogged itself out.
Still haven't found the pebble, but it was probably just as well.

Well well, so you can paint but then I always knew that ;-)

And what a painting. Cor! The viridian green harmonises fantastically well with the yellow and grey greens and that beautiful spec of a red tree house. Classic! Begining to sound like a crit I know but really I want to live in that tree house I missed out as a little boy. Ho hum.
BTW thanks for commenting on my blog Mat & Ron it was a real boost.

What a beautiful painting - i really love the yellow .. and the tender white buds really delicate balance - lovely.

Wonder if that's our missing front door on that inviting tree- house???

From Tumbler-

I wanted to say how moved I was by your painting yesterday - that you have taken Mad Smithy to heart so. Hopping Moon, the comma monitor, has pointed out how Mad Smithy's existence is entirely due to a missing comma. (Mad Smithy again !)

Who knows, maybe mine is too....

Just so impressed by today's picture - you have an extraordinary talent. xx

Lixtroll, lixtroll, I could read and read and read your blogs until my eyes dropped out, and drown in your paintings and photographs and scribbles. You are SOOOOOO talented. I hope you know that. You do know that, don't you? I would give worlds to be as anarchic and imaginative as you.... Please post more paintings, pretty please. jxxxx
